Burnsville Cops To Use New Taser Monitoring System

Burnsville Police will soon be using a video monitoring system that will record incidents involving Taser deployment from the officer's point of view.

The police department announced they will be using Taser's tactical computer system called Axon, which affixes a small device on officers' ears not unlike Bluetooth cellular earpieces.

The intention is that the device will capture digital evidence of incidents where officers deploy Taser weapons, which would then be available for review should litigation arise.

Burnsville will be the first city whose officers are using the technology.

9. They are using wiretapping laws which are audio only.

The video part is legal, it is the audio portion they are trying to use as illegal. The honest lawyers will tell you the whole thing is BS, but some of the DAs are not honest about it.

5. Boy, the contracts just keep rollin in on Taser related products. Guess they

will go sell them to Canada since now they are buying Tasers.
