Obama pulls back on 'enemies' remark to Latinos

Republicans were quick to criticize the president's remarks. House Minority Leader John Boehner was expected to use Obama's words in an election eve speech in Ohio to paint the president as a staunch partisan.

"Sadly, we have a president who uses the word 'enemy' for fellow Americans, fellow citizens. He used it for people who disagree with his agenda of bigger government," Boehner said, according to prepared remarks released in advance of his speech.

This from a party that tells Latinos not to vote, that uses 'scary Latinos' in their commercials to frighten their base, that hires illegals, then makes excuses when they get caught. What he should have said to Boner was "prove you are NOT the enemies of Latinos."

Opponents are people with whom one can reach a draw or a tie. The GOP has no interest in any such outcome - they want to ruin the country and crush anyone who stands in their way. Enemies is the appropriate term.
