8. You know this has nothing to do with John Boehner or Speaker right?
Edited on Wed Nov-03-10 10:20 AM by obama14
I dont know why this is even news.. This is for the #2 spot, not the speaker. Majority Leader is behind the speaker.
If this was going to be something against the tan drunk then fine.. that would be infighting, blood, etc.

15. Nothing new...
Just that Cantor, like most Republicans, refuse to answer any questions--they just spew talking points...

Maddow was asking Cantor how they were going to come up with the 700 billion dollars to pay for the upper 2% tax cuts. Cantor refused to answer and went off onto a tangent of how nobody was getting a tax cut, it will just avoiding the Democrats raising taxes on people.
Lawrence kept askings Cantor what programs he would cut to lower the deficit and how will they handle raising the Debt Ceiling. Cantor went off onto a non-related tangent of 'we need to listen to the American people'.

At the end when Matthews asked Cantor to 'come back some other time', Lawrence said 'I dont want him back if he is not going to answer any questions'.

24. On NPR this morning, they said Cantor had presented "22 points" on the economy
somewhere or other yesterday. I thought, "Great, he must have pulled an all-nighter and made something up." Bet it was just the same bunch of content-free platitudes.

18. This won't end well for the Right.
And we know it. It's just that their main talking point has been removed. Now that they seem to have some power lets see how much money they can get to comedians
