An Arizona man arrested in the Washington D.C. National Mall on firearms charges has threatened to kill a president in the past, according to a neighbor who knows the man. James A. Patock, 66, of Marana, was arrested Wednesday afternoon after authorities say they found firearms inside his parked vehicle on the Mall.

Police reported Patock was found with one handgun and two rifles with him. He was charged with carrying a pistol without a license, and possessing an unregistered firearm and unregistered ammunition, according to charges filed against Patock with D.C. Superior Court.

12 News has learned Patock threatened to kill President Barack Obama, according to one of Patock's neighbors.

We've both had our Obama 08 stickers scratched off, "Dump Mitchell: Obama's Socialist Tool" bumper stickers placed in our windshield wipers, and my fiancee's NEW Obama sticker had coffee/soda/something thrown on it. I left my Obama 08 sticker on, and put my Obama 2012 sticker beneath it (INSIDE my back window, so it was conserva-monkey proofed). In other words, FUCK these intimidation tactics.
