Blasted tower falls the wrong way in Ohio
Source: msnbc

The former Ohio Edison Mad River Power Plant’s 275-foot smoke stack in Springfield, Ohio falls toward spectators and surrounding buildings as it falls the wrong way during its demolition, Nov. 10, 2010. There were no injuries reported in the accident but power was knocked out for more than 8000 customers when the smoke stack crushed several pieces of power equipment.

25. But plenty of WTC 1 & 2 debris did hit #7, It was sufficient to bring
it down because of the fires the debris caused, coupled by a lack of water to fight the fire on the 13th floor.

"On August 21, 2008, NIST released its draft report on the causes of the collapse of 7 World Trade Center, beginning a period for public comments.<32> In its investigation, NIST utilized ANSYS to model events leading up to collapse initiation and LS-DYNA models to simulate the global response to the initiating events.<44> NIST determined that diesel fuel did not play an important role, nor did the structural damage from the collapse of the twin towers. But the lack of water to fight the fire was an important factor. The fires burned out of control during the afternoon, including on floor 13, where a critical interior column buckled. With the buckling of that column, adjacent columns also failed along with the floor structure above. This triggered a vertical progression of floor failures to the roof. The collapse then progressed east-to-west across the structure, and ultimately the entire structure collapsed. The fires, fueled by office contents, along with the lack of water, were the key reasons for the collapse."

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/7_World_Trade_Center

Need more tin foil? But we COULD start a rumor that a Cheney operative personally closed the water valve, thus depriving the NYFD the water needed to fight the fire. In the absence of proof that this mythological operative doesn't exist, it meets the nominal INTERNET standard of "I want it to be true, so it must be!"

26. not enough to make it fall in it's own foot print
even one building falling in it's own foot print due to a dirty/chaotic event would be an amazing coincidence, but 3, is impossible.

clean collapses ONLY happen by design.

31. Hey give you 5 bcks if you can tell me what a LSC is jacked in?
no , copper. When you blast copper into steel at 20000fps leaves, well, copper everywhere. You can tell steel cut with plasma or high pressure and temps.

BTW, I am sure no one in the buildings would notice the walls ripped out and charges bolted to support beams.

54. Gravity is straight down
which is the direction all three buildings fell. It would require another strong force to cause the builds to fall in another direction.

Here is another example of a steel structure falling due to a fire. It caused a highway overpass near the San Francisco Bay Bridge to collapse:

Oh... and we do have a recording, "Pull It!"

It was taken down and it had little to do with the two Towers falling.

58. Actually, from what I've seen professional demolitions are not straight down
In professional jobs part of the building is frequently made to pivot into itself and away from anything that needs to be protected from damage.

In all three buildings taken down by fire the damage was widespread, so the buildings fell almost straight down. Since they weren't professional demolitions, one of the towers damaged WTC 7 on the way down.

59. there is no proof of your claim
Edited on Thu Nov-11-10 02:11 PM by fascisthunter
but there is documented evidence of the owner saying, "Pull It!" in regard to his building. Also, if everything fell straight down, there would be no reason to have professional demolitionists. The reason they do make buildings fall in one direction and not the other is so that buildings around them will not get damaged in the process. Even the pros claim it was impossible for both buildings to fall the way they did.

62. Pull means evacuate
This covers WTC 7 conspiracy myths pretty well: http://www.debunking911.com/pull.htm

Pull means pull back, as in pull back or evacuate the fire fighters from around WTC 7 before it collapsed from the heavy damage and fires. It's a good thing they did, or there would have been even more dead firefighters.

I don't want to go in circles on this, but heavy fires can cause an almost straight down collapse of buildings, with some potentially significant damaged to the surrounding area. A controlled demolition often causes part of a building to fall or pivot in on itself to prevent damaged to the surrounding area. All three WTC buildings fell straight down, with part of one of the main towers breaking off and severely damaging WTC 7.

68. The reality of 9/11 will never ever be revealed to us.
At least not until all the players are dead.

But you must ask your self a single question regarding 9/11. Who benefits the most via the events of that day?

It's in that answer, you will find your abyss.

As for myself? Frankly, other than the friends I lost that day (Tower 2), everything afterward has been one big kabuki theater of stupidity and gullibility.

We all so obsess on finding answers for 9/11 and what caused it, when in the long run, we will never find out. We will never know who was a part of it. Other than what is fed to us as the truth (I find it amusing that people believe the "official" story of 9/11 from the government, but think that same government is full of shit on everything else. LOL) And frankly, all the time that has passed since that day, our nation has completely devolved into a quasi-fascist state. One in which the rich hold sway and control, the middle class is vanishing and the poor are increasing. Our rights are all but looked upon and "negotiable" now and trying to speak out against their erosion is looked upon as being un-American.

With those simple facts, getting lost in the minutia of why and who caused 9/11 is almost amusing. Just accept the fact that it happened. Because the rich certainly have and are laughing at our lower class naivete' obsession compulsion at finding answers in hopes of "bringing people to justice".

The upper classes 9/11 happened 9 years ago, the middle class and poor of this nation live and suffer a 9/11 daily. And the rich count on that.

Once we in the lower tiers of society finally wake up to the fact that 9/11 is now a tool to control us all, as and excuse to push through any sort of bill to further diminish our rights, it will be only then that we will finally shake off our gullible stupid belief that the people in power listen to us. Whether we be, Liberals, Libertarians, Tea Partiers, Repubs, Greens or whatever. We have to stop squabbling and start listening. But alas, the right wings well oiled machine of corporate controlled propaganda, does a great job of preventing the great unwashed from every having a unified voice.

The rich laugh at us.

61. They all had their cameras on tripods. This particular video is not his.
Although I'm not sure why since his station is NBC affiliated. They only had about a 10 foot space to evacuate since there was a chain fence behind them. It was CRAZY SCARY! Glad I wasn't there. What was weird is that all of the media voiced their concerns with where they were placed given the live wires and the small area but were assured by the demo company, the electrical company & the emergency responders that it would be just fine. We are counting our blessings that no one was injured.
