Govt to withhold welfare cheques from some unemployed

SEOUL (AFP) – The government unveiled a radical shake-up of the welfare state Thursday, saying it would withhold benefit payments for up to three years from those who refuse to take jobs.

Prime Minister David Cameron's government wants to introduce a sliding scale of penalties for those who either decline a job offer, fail to apply for a job they are advised to or do not turn up for mandatory four-week work placements.

The weekly 65 pound unemployment benefit will be withheld for three months from those who violate any of the three conditions.

That would rise to six months for a second violation and three years for a third, aides said.

What's good for them is good for us. We need to take away unemployment, Social Security, SSI, Medicare, Medicaid, Food Stamps, throw everyone under the bus.

In fact, why not throw everybody off a cliff?

Have you ever seen a baby thrown into the deep end of the pool? There are companies that will teach your baby to swim. They do it by throwing the baby into the deep end. It works. 65% of babies thrown into the deep end survive.

And what about child labor laws? Don't you agree that children should have an allowance? And don't children help their mothers clear off the dishes on the table? MAKE them work!

Ship all jobs overseas.

Privatize the fire department. If your building goes on fire, only put out the fires in the apartments that paid their fire bill.

And privatize the police department. You get mugged, the police should let you bleed to death if you didn't pay your police bill.

Privatize the Defense Department. Let the Russians, Chinese, Iranians and North Koreans take over every house in America that didn't pay their Defense bill.


Say there's some illegal alien who is working off the books at half the minimum wage. You should have been willing to work below minimum wage and then YOU'D have his job!

There are no jobs? Balderdash! Just be willing to work at cooley wages and there will be plenty of jobs forever. In fact, why not work for free?! Become a SLAVE! For sure they'd have to hire you then.
