3 Kids Critical, Mom Dead After Shooting Rampage

Nov 22, 2010 - Three North Miami Beach children remain in critical condition at Jackson Memorial Hospital after their mother's boyfriend went on a shooting spree Saturday night, killing her and himself.

North Miami Beach police spokesman Mike Pons said the case is being classified as a murder-suicide and confirmed the relationship of the victims, saying the apparent shooter was the mother's boyfriend and not the biological father to the children.

Just before 11:30 p.m. Pons said they received a call that a child had been shot in a home in the 15 hundred block of NE 151 Terrace. When officers arrived they found a 10-year old boy who had been shot. They then heard several gunshots from inside a home and called in a SWAT team.

"Officers heard shots fired actively while they were on the scene," said Pons. As they approached the front door they heard the gunfire and then found a 14-year old girl who also had been shot.

... odds are he wouldn't have been quick and skilled enough to kill one person and critically injure three others. So, yeah, I'd be happier if the guy had just had a knife - most likely, most of the victims would be better off.

is a case right here in Northampton PA (near Allentown) where a ladies ex-boyfriend did just that, killed her, her new boyfriend and a neighbor all with a knife.

Been more than one domestic abuse killing by the jerks spreading gasoline around the house and burning the building down with everyone inside.
