Passenger Hauled Off Plane For Too Many Bathroom Breaks
Source: NBC Miami

For travelers this holiday season, make sure to pack light, keep a sense of humor during an intrusive pat down and, apparenlty, don't drink too much water.

A passenger on a flight from Fort Lauderdale to Denver was pulled off a plane Tuesday after other passengers said he was taking too many potty breaks, reports 9News.com.

It's unclear if this is was classified as a terror alert yellow or brown, but authorities took it seriously enough to evacuate the plane.

The U.S. Airways flight was checked by K-9 units when it landed in Denver and the unnamed passenger, reportedly of Middle Eastern descent, was detained momentarily and questioned.

9. Wow. Don't fly when pregnant then!
1. You're not supposed to go through the scanner, so that's a guaranteed TSA crotch grab for you.

2. You'll get hauled off the plane for peeing too much.

I'm due in January and have several trips for job interviews planned. We'd already planned on driving because of how far along I am, and wow do I feel fortunate we did.

Congratulations on your pregnancy and good luck on your flight.

30. What will TSA do to someone wearing depends?
Presumably depends will show up as an anomaly on a scanner? Which would make the person wearing them to be selected for a pat down? Depends would also feel bulky during a pat down? So, I am really curious what wearing depends would actually lead to?

i was thinking i would have to find a pair in the gift shop after security and put them on in the bathroom before i board the plane.

13. Remember when passengers were respected as paying customers,
and the airlines' goal was to please them and make them comfortable, so they would want to return?

Now we are cargo assumed to be criminals until proven innocent.

24. I remember my first flight....
around 1976. It was only a 3 hour flight- we were served a meal. Oh, and it was a special thing, so we had to be dressed nicely. Pilot even came back to talk to people before the flight- he paid special attention to the kids (like me at the time). I got to go up to the cockpit, along with others. He didn't have to do that stuff, and that is what made it great.

15. Are we seeing ourselves over a palpable line, now?
Has Pandora's box of lost rights now opened to the point that even the most ridiculous and trivial actions will incite some sort of harsh or punitive reaction by authorities?

I think that the behavior we are seeing from the Watchers on behalf of the Owners indicates a serious breech of what we once thought were checks and balances functioning under the auspices of inalienable rights.

Without a strong, stubborn and pervasive response to turn back this dark tide, my guess is that the behavior we see will become more invasive, belligerent and non-nonsensical. Should we tolerate this test of our sense of ourselves and our place in this paradigm, we literally give the green light of entitlement to a very bizarre and repressive state of creeping Fascism.

Justifying or allowing abhorrent and abusive behavior is an invitation to more of the same or worse. Some say we are being trained, others say that this is a litmus test to gauge reaction on the road to living in a lock down of inverted and overt tyranny. I think both may be true and that the situation is extremely critical.

they have been testing us since 9/11, seeing how far they could push before we pushed back. We (as a public in general) probably will not, and those that do will be carted off. I am glad I don't believe in an afterlife, because if I did I could not imagine the pain someone like Jefferson would be going through looking down at this.

38. You have stated the truth!
The constant yammering of fear has induced paranoia in the U.S.

Both may be true = the definition of a paradox.

Definition of PARADOX

1: a tenet contrary to received opinion
2a : a statement that is seemingly contradictory or opposed to common sense and yet is perhaps true

44. Clearly the airline wasn't RyanAir.
Its boss Michael O'Leary loves publicity... and being outrageous. In one statement he felt it would be good if he charged passengers €1 for using the bathroom.

If this guy was using the bathroom too many times, that would be too many €€€€'s going into the bathroom....

47. There is another possibility
If he is a Type 1 diabetic, he may have been experiencing high blood sugar levels, which will result in the need for frequent urination. This is one (but far from the only one) reason I do not fly any longer. It is virtually impossible to maintain good blood sugar levels on extended flights and with airport delays.

most of the people think that the passengers did a good thing.... the usa has gone fucking mad.... instead of thinking that the guy had the runs from eating food he was not used to they think he was a terrorist.... because he is not white..... what about muslims from croatia bulgaria, albania, they look white...the right wingers may not be able to handle that and call for only one bathroom break per person per flight

50. I'm surprised the flight wasn't diverted to a destination 2000 miles away.
This just sets off the upset stomach or bladder overflow alert in my mind.

Passengers told authorities the passenger was "acting weird" and that set off the terrorist alert in their minds.

Fucking idiots.
