A British man is being held in Morocco in connection with the May suicide blasts in Casablanca that killed 44 people, says the foreign office here.
A second British man is also being held by authorities in Morocco, but a foreign office spokesperson refused to confirm if he was suspected of terrorism.
The foreign office was told of the men's arrests on Tuesday, after making inquiries on behalf of their respective families, who reported their disappearances in mid-June.
The spokesperson refused to name the men or provide further details, saying only that the second Briton was arrested in Fez and was being held in Casablanca.
"We will be raising the fact that a British national was held for six weeks without us being informed," she said.
