The Tunisian interim government is likely to go in for cabinet reshuffle, spurred by continuing protests against the inclusion of several ministers with links to the ousted regime of Zine El Abidine Ben Ali in the new administration.
Protesters seeking a purge of Ben Ali loyalists clashed with police again on Wednesday.
It is believed loyalists of the former president who have continued as interior, defence and foreign ministers, will be replaced in the shake-up.
"The reshuffle will be announced tomorrow, Thursday," Taieb Bakouch, a government spokesman, was quoted as saying on the Tunisian state news agency on Wednesday.
The move comes almost two weeks after Ben Ali fled into exile amid unprecedented protests against his rule.
