Hague Is Asked to Investigate Vatican Over Abuse.

Human rights lawyers and victims of clergy sexual abuse filed a complaint on Tuesday urging the International Criminal Court in The Hague to investigate and prosecute Pope Benedict XVI and three top Vatican officials for crimes against humanity for what they described as abetting and covering up the rape and sexual assault of children by priests.

The formal filing of nearly 80 pages by two American advocacy groups, the Center for Constitutional Rights and the Survivors Network of those Abused by Priests, is the most substantive effort yet to hold the pope and the Vatican accountable in an international court for sexual abuse by priests.

Wasn't the Inquisition proof enough that all that bottled up perversion among those church leaders, was an abomination. The experiment with abstention has been going badly for almost 2,000 years. It's unnatural, it's perverted and it's caused nothing but trouble. The most trusted man in most people's life turning out to be a child rapist is a sorry outcome. I'll bet God don't approve.

The church has always done this and always will, and people continue to march in and say their prayers and pretend it isn't happening. There's no excuse, in the age of the internet, for pretending you don't know what your church is up to.
