Omaha police early Thursday evicted Occupy Omaha protesters from a parking lot where they'd been staying near downtown.
All but two of the protesters complied after officers arrived around 4:30 a.m. The two were arrested for trespassing.
Police said protesters had been given two warnings to leave. Authorities said the protesters failed to leave, so they were evicted.
About two hours later Thursday morning, Omaha police had the small lot, which is on the northeast corner of 24th and Farnam, marked off with yellow caution tape. A police cruiser was parked in the lot. No protesters were spotted near the lot at around 7 a.m.
