U.S. military works to get troops home faster from Iraq
Source: CNN

The U.S. military is ordering that soldiers crossing from Iraq into Kuwait be returned home at a faster rate, a move that comes as commanders work to break up a bottleneck of troops who have been pouring across the border ahead of a year-end deadline to withdraw, CNN has learned.

"The order is to have these soldiers off the ground in Kuwait as soon as possible," a military official, speaking on condition of anonymity, told CNN. The official, based in Kuwait, was not authorized to speak to the media.

"They don't want these soldiers sitting around here. They want them home."

The official did not immediately know whether the military was moving up or adding flights for troops from Kuwait.

Bush lost the Iraq oil-grab war within 6 months of when he started it.

3. I know we all oppose the iraq war here, i know i do.... but...
It's not the same thing as Vietnam. We don't have a puppet government in Iraq anymore, and their democracy is not in any danger by terrorists or authoritarians. Just themselves and partisan gridlock.

I didn't support the war in Iraq and we should have never gone. Too many people are dead for little reason. But the mission is finished. Trillion dollars and hundreds of thousands of deaths later they have a, as far as the middle wast goes, a stable government.

5. As far as the middle east goes, yeah.
It's stable as in not about to collapse. Quite unlike any other country there, save a few.

7. The U.S. (Reagan) was propping up a Sunni who was not nice to Shiites and Kurds
when he couldn't defeat Iran, he became no use to us, except for his oil, so Bush/Cheney made up an excuse (LIED) to try and get his oil, and failed.

We left after defeat in both venues.

2. didn't george tell us he was a pilot ? How about him flying a
few plane loads home? Somebody could drive the dipshit to the airport.
When he's done with that, he can clean the operating rooms at our local VA hospital. When he's done with that, he can spend the rest of his life at Pelican bay.
