9. What
WHat does 'Suspending his campaign' actually mean? Is he out? It's a little vague. Cain blames EVERYONE but himself. I do not feel sorry for his wife. She is up there clapping and nodding when he said all allegations are false just shows she is just as dumb as her husband is. When she files for divorce down the road, I want this video played showing her how big of a fool she is.

18. Not him either. He is just trying to appear more moderate as a campaign tactic. He is hoping
that the right wing base will split it's votes over the others allowing him to slip through. But it's a tactic only. He signed off on that no new taxes under any circumstances pledge just like the rest of them did. And he is for an aggressive interventionist foreign policy. He is a dirt bag just like the rest of them. Oh, but he does speak Chinese. LOL.

He's against torture, has doubts about troops remaining in Afghanistan, isn't completely anti-immigration, and actually has respect for the P{resident. You're right though that it would just be a "nicer" kind of collapse with him in charge. Still would be America's downfall.

69. Well, it's a mixed blessing. I love to see exposure of the hypocrisy of the Party that claims
ownership of God, family values and patriotism. And I believe each instance of that has long-term, positive benefit for the Democratic Party and for America as a whole.

Besides, I doubt Cain was going to get the nomination anyway, despite an apparent surge. When it comes to race in America, polls have proven deceptive. And I think his surge was temporary.

Bottom line: I have trouble imagining that Republican primary voters were going to guaranty that the next President of the United States of America was an African American man.

As for Newt, Romney and Huntsman, they all have severe problems at the nomination stage, with the religious right and even the religious "moral majority," which will, IMO, lead to a very dispirited Republican base.

So, overall, I see Cain's withdrawing in disgrace as a win for Democrats.

35. This has been expected for more than a week now.

Several months ago I thought Mitt Romney would get the Republican presidential candidate nod. I'm not so sure anymore.

Fox News, read Rupert Murdoch, is backing Newt Gingrich all the way. Most of the other conservative media, Rush, Glenn Back, Mike Savage, and more, seem to still be backing Mitt.

For those who are keeping score, this makes about half a dozen 'front runners' the Republicans have had since the beginning of summer.

Mitt, Michelle Bachmann, Rick Perry, Cain and now Newt. Sarah Palin was supposed to make a big splash by entering the race sometime in the early fall. However, she nodded out by saying she thought by being a political pundit, having her shows on both Fox and TLC, she was more effective than being President of the United States. I think the country breathed a huge collective sigh of relief for that decision. Although she could just 'change her mind' if Newt does not pan out and all his 'baggage' does not hurt him in the early Republican primaries.

So far though Obama has been the winner of all but the last Republican debate. I think Mitt would be Obama's most difficult opposition for president. On the other hand, if Newt does get in, maybe the prediction that the Earth will be destroyed in 2012 might just come true.

....by every comedian in America!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Herman Cain (to the tune of Three Blind Mice)

Herman Cain, Herman Cain
See how he runs, see how he runs
He’s agile and changes positions with ease
He doesn’t aim well, but he’s aiming to please
With each new position you get extra cheese
He’s Herman Cain

Herman Cain, Herman Cain
He’s lots of fun, he’s lots of fun
You ask him “where’s Libya?” He doesn’t know.
“Is that near New York or perhaps near Bordeaux?”
The thing is to get on the Letterman show.
He’s Herman Cain

Herman Cain, Herman Cain
He stopped his run, he stopped his run,
He’s got a big interview telling his side
He tells it in earnest and tells it with pride
He’d give you the details, but his iPhone died
He’s Herman Cain!

74. We had the chance to crush the Republicans when we took office in 2009

We made the mistake of giving them a fair chance, and now it is coming back to hurt us. All Republicans are to be defeated at every opportunity, and if they supply the means, we should take full advantage of the situation. By grinding every front runner in the right wing field into the pavement, we will discourage any of them from running for office.
