SF ChroniclePolice surrounded a home in East Oakland this morning where they believe a suspect in the Black Friday shooting outside a Walmart store in San Leandro is hiding.
Oakland officers have cordoned off a neighborhood near 106th Avenue and MacArthur Boulevard and evacuated residents as a SWAT team searches for the suspect.
Police said the suspect is connected to the Nov. 25 shooting outside the Walmart at 15555 Hesperian Blvd., but have not identified him by name.
However, investigators said previously that they were looking for Detwone Watson, 29, of Oakland for allegedly shooting Christopher Murillo, 21, of San Lorenzo in the neck outside the store at 1:50 a.m. on Black Friday.
