VANCOUVER - Mounties say they've put a dent in organized hate in British Columbia after arresting two alleged neo-Nazis for several racist, violent attacks, but an expert says there's still more work needed to stem white pride sentiments in the province.

The two men are accused of belonging to the B.C.-faction of the white supremacist group Blood and Honour, which has tentacles around the world. Their crimes, police say, occurred in Vancouver and date back to 2008.

Robertson De Chazal, 25, is charged with aggravated assault and assault causing bodily harm in connection with two incidents, while Shawn MacDonald, 30, faces three counts of assault. Both are from the Vancouver area.

De Chazal is one of three people accused in an apparently random October 2009 attack.

1. Such a shame when 'pride' (which can be a positive thing ) is turned...

...into hateful violent cowardice.
It just breeds more violence in revenge.

Not all 'pride' has to be about domination or elitism.
Yet, it does seems to end that way many times. Gay Pride is about the
only exception to that rule I can think of, and there's many gays I've met who do indeed think they are the better of all alternatives. So...

Anyways, I'm going to take a huge liberty, speak for the whole white race, of which I am a member, and say
we can do better than (continuing) this racist bullshit. There's no pride in setting a man on fire after he
drinks too much and passes out.

Problem is that the Conservative media, and the Conservative politicians who feed the frenzy, make statements such as 'America first' or the ubiquitious 'Amerika, love it or leave it.' The unwashed take all this to heart and soon it will come to Nationalism, or worse, a Jingoistic mentality. While your statement, "can be a positive thing" can be correct, I'd say it's limited to rooting for one's favorite sports team or some positive personal achievement.

Isn't pride one of your deadly sins anyway?
