AP via CBSSan Francisco firefighters have controlled a five-alarm apartment building blaze that left up to 60 residents homeless.
Fire Chief Joanne Hayes-White says the fire that engulfed three buildings raged for about three hours Thursday afternoon before it was brought under control around 3 p.m.
The blaze sent one firefighter to the hospital with a burn to the neck, and another was treated at the scene for smoke inhalation. A civilian was also hospitalized after inhaling smoke.
