BBCA suicide attacker has detonated a bomb in Damascus, Syrian state TV says.
It said several people were killed and wounded in the blast in Midan district.
It comes two weeks after 44 people died in blasts the authorities blamed on terrorists. Opposition activists accused the government of staging them.
The Midan district has been the scene of recent protests against President Bashar al-Assad's governement. Arab League monitors are in Syria trying to ensure compliance with a peace plan.
