WASHINGTON - An Army officer
is recommending a general
court-martial for a low-ranking
intelligence analyst charged in
the biggest leak of classified
information in U.S. history.
Lt. Col. Paul Almanza's
recommendation regarding Pfc.
Bradley Manning now goes up
the chain of command for a
final determination. Military
District of Washington
commander Maj. Gen. Michael
Linnington will ultimately decide
whether Manning will stand
trial.

Defense lawyers say Manning
was clearly a troubled young
soldier. They say the Army
never should have sent him to
Iraq or given him access to
classified material.

ooh... this ticks me off. they sent over a very emotionally upset young man to do low level work and gave him access despite that, and their horrible protections of info led to this. I pray for ya Bradley. I hope your lawyer and the Obama Admin convince the mil to not go overboard and to, instead, accept some egg on their faces concerning this.

FREE BRADLEY MANNING!

1. That's kind of like blaming my wife for the guy that just stole her purse...

Her "horrible protections" of the purse led to the theft, I guess...

4. your wife doesnt have millions of TS files in her purse
and if your wife did have TS files, but arguably wasn't stable, then you should be blamed for letting her carry it if you knew she wasn't stable. The robber/wiki is a side point that doesn't figure in the initial failure.
