Press Release: NOM Congratulates Newt Gingrich on South Carolina Win

January 21, 2012 at 8:21 pm

WASHINGTON, D.C. — Brian Brown, the president of the National Organization for Marriage (NOM) today congratulated GOP presidential contender Newt Gingrich on his victory in the South Carolina primary.

"NOM congratulates Newt Gingrich on his impressive come-from-behind victory in South Carolina." said Brown. "We have had three different victors in state contests thus far — Rick Santorum in Iowa, Mitt Romney in New Hampshire and now Newt Gingrich in South Carolina. What all these states have in common is that they have picked candidates who have signed NOM's Marriage Pledge. They are all winners and NOM supports each of them."

3. and the National Association for Adultery named him Man of the Year.
What could poor Newt do?

His first wife was getting treated for cancer.

The second wife had just been diagnosed with MS.

And besides, as he has explained so cogently, he loved his country so much (whatever that has to do with the price of tea in adultery land).

Leave poor Newt alooooonnnnne!

4. I really can't imagine being so mindlessly, blindly, committed to

homophobia that I would let myself be seen in public approving of a moral sleazeball like Noot.

This is just amazing, isn't it. I feel like their approval wouldn't change if he went out and murdered gay people. I've never experienced this kind of hate, and hope I never do.

Heard a woman on Iowa Public Radio this morning say Newt asked for forgiveness, and God forgave Newt, so all is well. This occurred after he became a Catholic, I presume.

I am really curious how she became informed that God had forgiven Newt, but if I asked anybody, I would be accused of persecuting religious people, so I won't ask.

5. Zombies on a hate trip.
Watching them do their zombie stupidity and hypocrisy would be amusing if it was fictional. But, no doubt they'd be burning hundreds of thousands of lgbt's at the stake in sociopathic ecstasy right in front of their children if they get half a chance.

"See what happens to girls like you, girls that like to kiss other girls, Susie? Hear that screaming? Smell the burning hair and flesh? You could end up just like that too if you don't stop your wicked ways. You better listen to daddy. It's god's will that those who don't believe as we do should suffer punishment. After we burn them, they will burn in hell forever! Now we have to go, we're supposed to meet at the church. We're all taking the bus to the Westboro Cemetery and protest so we can upset and annoy the families of soldiers killed in action as they mourn at the burial of their loved ones. God has told us that he killed these soldiers because god hates homosexuals. It is god's will. Praise the lord for his righteous punishments."

8. I imagine you would be told that God always forgives on request, if
the request and the repentance are authentic).

The issue is, how did she know Newt was sincere?

Apparently, she chooses to take both God and Newt at their word.

6. Well, after all, he IS a repeat participant.
And he appreciates marriage so much that he starts to practice one before the last one is finished. ;-)

Now, he should also seek a nod from any National Organization for Divorce, should one exit. Or endorsement by the National Organization for Adultery? ;-)
