Pat Buchanan, MSNBC Part Ways: Network Drops Conservative Commentator 4 Months After Suspending Him
Source: Huffington Poo

MSNBC dropped conservative commentator Pat Buchanan on Thursday, four months after suspending him following the publication of his latest book.

The book "Suicide of a Superpower" contained chapters titled "The End of White America" and "The Death of Christian America." Critics called the book racist, anti-Semitic and homophobic, charges Buchanan denied.

MSNBC President Phil Griffin said last month that he didn't think Buchanan's book "should be part of the national dialogue, much less part of the dialogue on MSNBC."

The network said on Thursday that "after 10 years, we have decided to part ways with Pat Buchanan. We wish him well."

1. Up yours, Puke-anan!
I was wondering why his ugly face and screechy voice hadn't been on MSNBC for a while. It's good to know he won't be on there ever again.

How much do you want to bet that Faux "News" will hire him?

What baffles me is that it took 10 years for MSNBC to get rid of his sorry ass.

4. I bet money was the disagreement. MSNBC has been receiving complaints about Buchanan from viewers
for years, especially since his last xenophobic book.

Beside, no one with a brain needed viewer complaints or books to tell them Buchanan was the closest thing to a white supremacist getting props on national TV. All anyone had to do was listen to him.

"I cry every time I hear The Night They Drove Ole Dixie Down." "We are losing our white culture."

I don't buy that the scales finally fell off MSNBC's eyes, once his umpteenth book was published. It was about money, one way or another.

Whether they could not agree on his compensation, or the WH complained, or sponsors complained, or whatever. Somehow it was about money.
