Drudge: Gore to give major Iraq policy address Thurs. in NY
developing...

(Was going to post in GD, but GD was gone)

So, does a Gore address on Iraq policy signal any intent as far as a possible run for POTUS?

1. well...
I'm not 100% convinced that it does. I would assume this event (wherever it is) has been scheduled for a while, but it's being given more attention b/c of all the rumors about people trying to get him to run again. Just a guess.

2. He probably wants to keep his name out there
He's been really quiet and hasn't spoken out during this whole war. Now that he's being mentioned, he most likely wants to wait and see and keep his options open, but it won't hurt to get some media face time.

5. Dean gets my vote no matter what
Including if Al runs.

I can only hope Gore comes out and condemns the Illegal Iraq War, and calls for the occupation to be turned over to the UN. That would "almost" make up for the fact that he selected the neo-con traitor to be his running mate.

Dean really has PNAC running scared. Every appearance he makes EXPOSING the junta lies, just emboldens more and more Americans to speak out. A HUGE number of independents are against this war, i run into alot of them, people who vote GOP alot of the time.

4. If that is true.......
Looks like it could be another "tease"......and to steal Dean's thunder. I'll never understand the minds of politicians. They do the stupidest things but the dems are the worlds worst.Instead of destroying the other party, they try their best to destroy their own.I am really tired of being on a roller coaster all the time....everytime one of them gives us hope another one comes along and tears them to shreds and sides with the "enemy". It makes no sense.

I rarely post to LBN, and even more rarely do I post drudge crap, but this seemed worthy, imho - judgement call...

But I really would appreciate some news tips, and I'll think twice before posting unlinked drudge items...

:)

9. it's sponsored by Moveon.org
my sister got an invitation to attend, from the folks at moveon.org. She heard about it this morning (monday) and it is going to be at one of the universitie.

my sense was that folks who donated to moveon got the first invites.
