1. Oy -- I haven't even finished reading your intro on the subject yet

and already I know this is BIG.

I just discovered this sequence today, August 03, 2003. It is from my case materials, which have a huge amount of background research. Each one of the documents in sequence one is INTERESTING BY ITSELF--but in combination, deserve another look. Are there causal relationships between these documents and events?


As many people know, Congress and the President recently passed election reform laws--

* HOW did we end up with a 'broken' HAVA, with a broken voting ballot definition?

* WHY hasn't our government resolved exactly what a ballot IS--nearly three years after election 2000?

* WHO hoodwinked a large number of civil rights groups into thinking touchscreen machines were being built properly?
