Ex-POW Lynch to Tell Story in Book (thought She had Amnesia)
guess NOT!

<snip>

CHARLESTON, W.Va. - Former prisoner of war Pfc. Jessica Lynch will tell her story in a book, a family spokesman said Thursday.

"The Lynch family has received many offers from people interested in bringing Jessica's story to life," spokesman Randy Coleman said. "Jessica and her family have concluded that the most appropriate and complete telling of this story will be in a book, which they will have more to say about soon."

Coleman would not discuss specifics of the book deal.

He said that Lynch was not granting interviews.

Lynch, a 20-year-old Army supply clerk from Palestine, W.Va., was captured March 23 after her 507th Maintenance Company convoy was ambushed in the southern Iraqi city of Nasiriyah. She was rescued from a hospital in the city on April 1.

3. Maybe she's going to tell her story....
which I have a feeling greatly varies from what the Media and Pentagon told us.

Maybe she's going to talk about how she became a Media darhling and how it distorted who she really is in order to sell a war to the rest of the country

Maybe she's going to tell us how she's disgusted that they're even making a movie out of her story when she has time and time again rejected the notion.

That's a book a would even buy!

Another short story that should take about four pages. Give me a break!

Did Jessica finally realize that she fucked up by not lying her ass off? And now is gonna milk it for all its worth!

I hope the book tells about how junior and his thugs wanted her to lie and make her hero status. If that's the case the
book may be a best seller.

6. I hope the family finds an independent co-author
to do the actual writing rather than some hack appointed by Karl Rove.

9. It was von Rumsfeld and Karl Rove
who had amnesia. It was they that spread the false stories about how Lynch was captured and "rescued" and when even the US Corporate Media couldn't stop the truth from coming out, they suddenly came up with this "amnesia" story to cover their own sorry lies.

Maybe it was *'s idea, he probably spends most of his time sitting around watching soap operas.

10. did *Lynch* actually *say* she had amnesia?
Edited on Fri Aug-08-03 08:24 AM by OldCurmudgeon
It was (Rove & Rumsfeld) that spread the false stories about how Lynch was captured and "rescued" and when even the US Corporate Media couldn't stop the truth from coming out, they suddenly came up with this "amnesia" story to cover their own sorry lies.

So was it Lynch that actually said she had amnesia?

Or was someone talking to her about ShrubCo's fantasy-rescue story, Lynch responding "I don't remember that", and ShrubCo spun it into "amnesia"?

Watch very carefully "who said what", because most of what comes out of ShrubCo is blatent lies.

15.  until her book is out,
I will give Lynch the time to attempt to get her health
back and write the book.

It is possible that she intends to tell the truth and
* be damned.

The parents of one of the dead (article not on-liine
any longer) said that what the Army told them about their
son's last hour(s) and the terrible fighting, where he
was found, alone, shot and stabbed sounds just like what
*s fools claim is what happened to Lynch. So Lynch's
version will be interesting.

They wanted their dead son to be given ?? Purple Heart or
some other award but officaldom says that door is closed.

16. Remember Victoria Clarke
when you hear the story about Private Lynch. This is the corporate shill who was the Pentagon's Spokesperson during the run up to the first and second Gulf Wars. During the first Gulf War she cooked up the story about how the Iraqi soldiers threw the babies from the incubators and had a so called common Kuwaiti woman describe these horrors in congressional testimony.Later on it turned out that she was the Kuwaiti Ambassador's daughter who had never set foot in the hospital she was describing.

During the recent war in Iraq, this same Victoria Clarke wore a multicolored outfit on TV and preened as to how Private Lynch showed extraordinary courage when the Iraqi soldiers beat her and threatened her with all kinds of atrocities.iT later turns out that, instead of being a victime, she was well cared for by the doctors and her so called rescue was stage managed by the US forces.

Victoria Clarke suddenly developed an urgent need to spend more time with her family and left her job as a flack for the Pentagon.

I am sure when the coast is clear, Victoria Clarke will be promoted to a high position in the PR firm of Hill and Knowlton where she used to work before her stints at the Pentagon. Along with Condi she is the perfect embodiment of the culture of lying that is the Bush administration. Never let it be said that GW is not an equal opportunity employer of liars.
