MOSUL, Iraq (Reuters) - A suspected suicide car bomb attack in the northern Iraq (news - web sites) city of Mosul killed at least 10 Iraqis and wounded up to 100 on Tuesday, the U.S. military said in a statement.
The statement said the bomb, hidden inside an orange and white taxi, detonated in front of Mosul's city hall, causing substantial damage to the building and destroying at least nine vehicles in the area.

BAQOUBA, Iraq - Three car bombs shook the northern Iraqi cities of Baqouba and Mosul on Tuesday, killing at least 14 Iraqis and one U.S. soldier. At least 126 people were wounded, including 10 U.S. soldiers.
The first blast occurred outside forward operating base War Horse, a U.S. outpost at the former al-Faris air force base 30 miles north of Baghdad.
"At rush hour, a suicide bomber blew up his Mitsubishi," said Iraqi police Second Lt. Ali Hussein. "The blast led to huge damage."
The explosion killed at least four Iraqis and one American soldier, the U.S. military and police said. Sixteen Iraqis and 10 American soldiers were wounded.
