Chaos in Köln: Bei einem Bombenanschlag vor einem Frisör-Laden sind 17 Menschen verletzt worden. In der Nähe sind auch eine Pizzeria und ein Döner-Imbiss. Gegen 16 Uhr explodierte eine mit tausend, 12 cm langen Nägeln gespickte Bombe. Das bestätigte Polizeisprecher Jürgen Laggies gegenüber Bild.T-Online.
Notärzte und Rettungssanitäter versorgten fieberhaft Wunden und Verbrennungen. Mindestens eine Person schwebt in Lebensgefahr. Viele mussten mit schweren Verletzungen in Spezialklinken eingeliefert werden.

Der Polizeisprecher: „In der Keupstraße im Stadtteil Mülheim wohnen und arbeiten viele türkische Familien. Gegen 16 Uhr kam es zu der Detonation. Wir haben das Gebiet weiträumig abgesperrt.“

GERMAN BOMB BLAST INJURES 17

A bomb filled with nails has exploded in the western German city of Cologne injuring 17 people, five of them seriously. A police spokesman told reporters that they were looking for the assailant or perpetrators who are yet unknown. The blast rocked an apartment building devastating a hairdresser's salon on the ground floor on Wednesday evening.
