Five months until the election. Five uppity, prankish, seminude calendar photos plus cover shot. To pull it off, so to speak, will take a dozen Seattle women -- some in full, ripened bloom -- who are desperate enough to shed their clothes in the cause of stripping George W. Bush of the presidency.
The political situation in this country is darned grim as they see it, what with death expanding in Iraq and freedoms receding here at home. Time to raise a little hell, hopefully more than a little money, and have a bit of fun in the process.
Next to go before the camera -- this time in Spencer's studio -- will be Alison Slow Loris posing as the "Spirit of Justice" statue in a mock-up of the now famous photo of Attorney General John Ashcroft. A year ago he spoke in front of that classic statue, which made him so uneasy he commissioned an $8,000 drape to cover its bosoms.
