BRITS TELL EMBASSY STAFF TO QUIT SAUDI
Jun 14 2004

Fears over attacks on foreigners

THE Foreign Office have told non-essential embassy staff and relatives in trouble-torn Saudi Arabia that they can quit the oil-rich kingdom.

British Airways have also decided flight crews will no longer stay overnight in Saudi.

The moves follow a series of attacks on foreigners in the capital, Riyadh, the latest of which involved the killing of a US businessman and the kidnapping of a second American.

The Foreign Office decision is seen as the clearest indication yet of the spiralling problems which the region is facing.

Islamic fundamentalists, and especially al-Qaeda,have been trying to destabilise Saudi and overthrow its royal family.

How America armed Iraq

UNDER the successive presidencies of Ronald Reagan and George Bush, the USA sold nuclear, chemical and biological weapons technology to Saddam Hussein.

In the early 1990s, UN inspectors told the US Senate committee on banking, housing and urban affairs – which oversees American export policy – that they had “identified many US-manufactured items exported pursuant of licences issued by the US department of commerce that were used to further Iraq’s chemical and nuclear weapons development and missile delivery system development programmes”.

7. You think the USA should invade Saudi Arabia?
Edited on Mon Jun-14-04 01:52 PM by NNN0LHI
I am not so sure about the wisdom of that idea. I think we had better take a little break from this country invading stuff for a while.

8. Should we invade? No
Not unless it becomes an Islamic State.

But we have a hell of a lot stronger case for going into Saudi Arabia than we do Iraq. If we were serious about the War on Terror, they would be Target #1.

...no longer remains a US puppet we should invade them and kill them? You have got to be fucking kidding me. If the fiasco in Iraq has not taught you anything, nothing ever will.

I got a secret for you. Killing people is not the solution to the problem here. Your killing idea will not work. Too many Muslims. Over one and a half billion Muslims. We will eventually lose. Big time.

TRANSLATION

Wumpscut - Deadmaker

They didn't expect me
never expected my wild lust
I turned into an animal
No thought about afterwards
When I broke your bones

Dead, dead, dead I make you dead
Dead, dead, dead stained from blood so red

Dead

For my next life (life after death in the religious sense)
I get the power I need
I’m a slave to the killing
In solitary confinement

("einzelhaft" (solitary confinment) has become part of the german vocabulary after the terrorist attacks of the Red Army Fraction during the 70's. It's used for people in prison, who are put into complete isolation not just from other people, but from all kinds of information. It's what might be known in the US as "sensual deprivation", a kind of torture-technique to destroy people's self.)

Dead, dead, dead I make you dead
Dead, dead, dead stained from blood so red
Dead, dead, dead I make you dead
Dead, dead, dead stained from blood so red

Wasting away
By God’s hand
I can smell you
And my thought disappeared

Dead, dead, dead I make you dead
Dead, dead, dead stained from blood so red
Dead, dead, dead, dead

I make you dead I make you dead
I make you dead I make you dead

Tell me what you want
That you fill my longing (that you satisfy my desire)
I make you dead for evermore
God’s altar stained from blood so red

Dead, dead, dead I make you dead
Dead, dead, dead stained from blood so red

I make you dead for evermore
I make you dead believe me its true
I make you dead for evermore
I make you dead on God’s altar

11. Yes. I am saying that.
If Saudi Arabia (or Pakistan for that matter) goes up in Islamic Revolution a la Iran, we need to invade. It's far too dangerous to our security otherwise.

Saudi Arabia only exports two things: oil and Wahabiism. One sustains or economy; the other threatens our lives. We need to secure the first and destroy the second. If warfare is necessary to do this, it is necessary to do this.

(As for Pakistan, any president that allows an Islamic state to hold nuclear weapons should be held for treason).

12. any president that allows an Islamic state to hold nuclear weapons
If this planet blows to pieces this year, thank Khan Labs' and Bush

You may never have heard of Khan Laboratories, but if this planet blows to pieces this year, it will be thanks to Khan Labs' creating nuclear warheads for Pakistan's military. Because investigators had been tracking the funding for this so-called "Islamic Bomb" back to Saudi Arabia, under Bush security restrictions, the inquiry was stymied. (The restrictions were lifted, the agent told me without a hint of dark humor, on September 11.)

Noam Chomsky, who read the story on page one of the Times of India, has wondered, "Why wasn't it all over US papers?

.. A top-level CIA operative who spoke with us on condition of strictest anonymity said that, after Bush took office, "There was a major policy shift" at the National Security Agency. Investigators were ordered to "back off" from any inquiries into Saudi Arabian financing of terror networks, especially if they touched on Saudi royals and their retainers. That put the Bin Ladens, a family worth a reported $12 billion and a virtual arm of the Saudi royal household, off limits for investigation.

I probed our CIA contact for specifics of investigations that were hampered by orders to back off of the Saudis. He told us that Khan Laboratories investigation had been effectively put on hold.

13. Nuclear Bombshell: The Truth that John Kerry Knows

K SUBRAHMANYAM

< SUNDAY, MARCH 14, 2004 11:00:27 PM >

The myth that A Q Khan’s proliferation activities were conducted without the knowledge of the Pakistani army chiefs and prime ministers and further that the US administration was fully satisfied with this explanation stands demolished. Consider the following....

Whether the Iran-contra deal encouraged the Iranians to make overtures to Pakistan on nuclear technology and General Zia was emboldened to direct A Q Khan to respond positively would need to be further investigated.

However, it is an open secret that the US was permissive of the Pak nuclear weapons programme: The Bank of Credit and Commerce International (BCCI) owned by the Pakistani, Agha Hasan Abedi, was chosen by the CIA to put through the Iran-contra arms deal.

The bank’s collapse in 1991 kicked up a lot of political dust: So much so, the bank’s illegal penetration of the US banking system, through a benami take-over of the First American Bank, became the subject matter of Senate Foreign Relations sub-committee enquiry chaired, most interestingly, by senator John Kerry — the present Democratic contender for the US presidency.

16. I will have no part of your White Man's Burden. Thanks anyway though...
Edited on Tue Jun-15-04 01:08 PM by NNN0LHI
The White Man's Burden,
Rudyard Kipling, 1899

Take up the White Man's burden--
Send forth the best ye breed--
Go bind your sons to exile
To serve your captives' need;
To wait in heavy harness,
On fluttered folk and wild--
Your new-caught, sullen peoples,
Half-devil and half-child.

Take up the White Man's burden--
In patience to abide,
To veil the threat of terror
And check the show of pride;
By open speech and simple,
An hundred times made plain
To seek another's profit,
And work another's gain.

Take up the White Man's burden--
The savage wars of peace--
Fill full the mouth of Famine
And bid the sickness cease;
And when your goal is nearest
The end for others sought,
Watch sloth and heathen Folly
Bring all your hopes to nought. <snip>

Take up the White Man's burden--
Have done with childish days--
The lightly proferred laurel,
The easy, ungrudged praise.
Comes now, to search your manhood
Through all the thankless years
Cold, edged with dear-bought wisdom,
The judgment of your peers!

14. Uh . . . isn't Saudi Arabia already about as Islamic as it can get?
As in beatings by the religious police if you are late for public prayers, and girls in an orphanage forced to burn to death in a fire because they couldn't be permitted to run from flaming buildings while potentially not fully clothed.

15. There is a slight difference
Those rules are enforced by the Religious Police who are controlled by the Royal Family. If it became an Islamic State, the Religious Police would be running the country outright.
