Child abuse arrests hit Aussie church
By Michael Perry

Sydney - The Anglican Church in Australia has been engulfed in a child sex abuse scandal with nine people, including two former ministers, arrested or ordered to appear in court on sexual abuse offences, police said on Monday.

Police made arrests across Australia between Thursday and Sunday after investigating 200 claims of sex abuses against children by former members of the Anglican Church in the state of South Australia.

"As a result of those investigations the paedophile taskforce has arrested or reported nine men," said police, giving details of charges of child sexual abuse between 1952 and 2000.

The entire Anglo Western world's churches has been caught molesting little boys and girls. When will the truth come out of Christian Missionaries molesting boys and girls in the dark skinned countries? The countries which the church controls the press. The countries which the parents would need 1000 years of salary to higher a lawyer just to attempt to bring to court a case against the Christians. The catholic Pope knows this has happened and is going on and what has he done about it?

1. Don't blame this one on the Pope.
Sorry, he is not responsible for all evil in the world.

These accused are Anglican.

2. The Pope has know this has been going on for 40-50 years, in the
Catholic Church and in all religious organizations and in all missionary groups overseas. You mean the Pope has the moral justification to keep quiet because these groups are not in the Catholic Church?

3. Agreed ...

The clergy have a SERIOUS problem with this. It's an institutional bias towards PROTECTING the notion of an infallible clergy. That's the REAL problem!!!!!

They need to blow the cover off this stuff and get it out in the open. The Pope has shown ZERO leadership in this regard. He even went so far as to criticize the American Bishops when they established lay review boards.

Catholic priests don't have children. They only have a brethren who they are primarily responsible for. And this creates a serious bias because the priest's first "family" does not have children.

The next Pope needs to come out and be really clear about this issue.

NO FUCKING CHILDREN!!!! IF YOU DO, YOU'LL BE EXCOMMUNICATED!!!!

BTW, it's so interesting that the Bishop of Boston would like to excommunicate Kerry for being pro-abortion. But he won't excommunicate his priests for fucking babies. Theres a seriously SICK fucking mindset at work here.

4. The story you've linked does not involve the Catholic Church.
I'm not excusing the Pope or the priests or the cowardly parents who took money rather than go the police.

If the Pope spoke out against Protestant child abuse, you'd be saying he doesn't have the right to do so.
