Lieberman meets Oklahoma oil, gas producers
OKLAHOMA CITY -- Presidential hopeful Joe Lieberman told Oklahoma oil and gas producers Tuesday he would push for tax incentives to help create more jobs in the industry.

In a bustling cafe near Oklahoma City's cattle stockyards, Lieberman autographed napkins for restaurant workers and shook hands with ranchers in town for the day to sell cattle.

Lieberman dined with a handful of independent oil and gas producers, asking them for feedback on his energy plan that would increase domestic production of oil and gas while researching the use of alternative fuels such as wind and solar power.

"As long as we're dependent on foreign oil, we are not going to be as strong a country as we could be, no matter how strong we are militarily or even economically," Lieberman said as he munched on a tuna fish sandwich in the steakhouse's back room.

3. As long as we're dependent on foreign oil..."
What a total DUMBASS! He STILL hasn't figured it out? Domestic production is not going to do it. If he wants to create jobs in this country, he/we should focus tax incentives on renewables, fuel cells, solar, and wind. Why are the Dutch beating us in wind generation production? What's up with THAT?

10. Okay, I am sick to death of having the republican crash dem events!
Since when in history did we allow a republican to debate and run around with the dem candidates in the DEM primary?

Enough is enough!
