Wolfowitz says Iraqis not overly concerned with abuse issue
Capitol Hill-AP -- Deputy Defense Secretary Paul Wolfowitz says the prisoner abuse issue isn't a big concern for Iraqis.
He says that during his trip to Iraq last week, he was struck by how little the issue came up.

He told the House Armed Services Committee that Iraqis are "focused far, far more" on how to defeat the insurgents. Wolfowitz says with assassinations occurring "every day," the Iraqis "know where their priorities are."

His comments came as the White House released a thick file of papers documenting its internal deliberations on rules for interrogating prisoners.

what are the odds Wolfowitz left the GreenZone and actually went out on the streets and talked to everyday Iraqis

Who ya gonna believe - your lying eyes, ears, and brain or what THEY tell you.

What truly amazes me about the STUPID American SHEEPLE is that they STILL refuse to listen to what they say compared to what is happening AND THE STUPID AMERICAN SHEEPLE STILL SUPPORT THESE IDIOTS!

Now remind me again, all you apologists on this board, why we shouldn't call a spade a spade and identify the idiot citizenry of the USA as STUPID SHEEPLE!

6. NewsFlash: Wolfowitz's secret mushroom recipe
soon to be released... claims are that they can make even the most despondant person see a rosy scenario, based on no facts, in which all is wonderful in his/her future... trepidation mounts on the eve of the announcement, as fears of mass population side effects when the irrational behavior emerges based on the mushroom induced euphoric delusions.

Some believe that this is Wolfowitz's cynical way of making sure that he can make money after he is booted from office...

{/sarcasm}

(my new standard Wolfie story on LBN - as each thing he says seems to be more evidence of some sort of happy hallucenations where only HE can see this perfect scenario where things are going well..., or at the least aren't as bad as some mean press people imple...)

10. I watched some of this jerk on c-span this morning.
Wolfie is one slippery dude when questioned. He's good at NOT answering the qustions asked, and the one time I saw he was stopped and reminded "That isn't what I asked" he said "I'm answering you, this is all part of the answer". BTW, he never did answer.

Correction, Wolfy...that's the priority of your hand-picked interim government. The commonplace Iraqi-in-the-street need not fear assassination. He fears being dragged in for no cause and being tortured.
What's that?
You've never even met a "commonplace Iraqi-in-the-street"?

:wtf:

I suggest you get out more then. You have much to learn, chickenhawk.

18. Mordant commentary from DefenseLINK News
"The division is working to balance the dueling goals of combat operations and rebuilding infrastructure while promoting Iraq's legitimate national government, a senior division officer said."

I just wanted to check out what Wolfowitz's schedule was for his last visit to Iraq (and, no, he didn't go walkabout in Baghdad) and stumbled across this quote.

31. The Iraqi people.
Anytime anyone associated with BushCo speaks about the "Iraqi people", what they mean is the puppets on the US payroll.

If their was any justice in this world Fullofshitz would be on trial at this time, then found guilty of War Crimes and sentenced to 20 years in Leavenworth with no parole, as would the rest of the BushCo War Criminals.

33. His itinerary was on DoD website
and he never MET with any Iraqi civilians. He went from one military BRIEFING to another and was told whatever they thought he wanted to hear. He didn't tour Abu Ghraib this trip, unlike his other visits to Iraq, during the time of the tortures were happening. Why doesn't any media ever ask him about that?

35. Paul Wolfofwitz, official spokesman for the "Iraqi people"
Who might be surprised, if not alarmed and revolted, to learn that he knows what their priorities are.

His wavering in front of the House Armed Services Committee received scant coverage, just a few lines in this story. Does anybody really even listen to him anymore?

That's what my dad would call people who would say the dumbest things.

Are we to assume that Wolfowitz did an internet or phone poll in Iraq. If so, how in the hell did he do it, considering that most Iraqis don't have the basic things like food, water, clothes and shelter, much less to talk about owning a phone or a computer. :spank:

And I know damn well Wolfowitz didn't go door to door.

I wonder where in the hell he gets his information from.
