Colorado compatriots to pay renegade Texas lawmakers a visit
Four Democrats head to N.M. to share own redistricting woes

Four Colorado Democrats are steeling themselves for chiles rellenos and redistricting, posole and party politics.
They are off to Albuquerque today to offer some moral support to the 11 renegade Texas Democrats who are staging a standoff in New Mexico.
Colorado Democrats hope to offer advice to the AWOL Texans, who are boycotting a special session intended to draw a new map for that state's congressional districts that would benefit Republicans.
Their actions are similar to an incident in May, when Texas lawmakers fled to Okalahoma to block a redistricting plan.
The Justice Department inspector general issued a report Tuesday on the May incident saying federal agents wisely ignored Texas Republicans seeking help in locating their Democratic colleagues. (snip/...)
