Harkin Calls Cheney Comments 'Cowardly'

"DES MOINES, Iowa - Sen. Tom Harkin pushed the name-calling in the presidential race to a new level, calling Vice President Dick Cheney a coward for not serving in Vietnam and cowardly for his criticism of John Kerry."

12. Great! Back in 1988, he chastised Dan Quayle for "wrapping himself

in the flag" instead of wearing the uniforms that the flag symbolized (or something like that).

Most of the Republicans voters are from the Red states, SUV or other monster cars drivers, gun carrying, tobacco spitting macho men who have no patience to politeness and, yes, "sensitivity." So let's talk to them in a language that they can understand.

And, please, let us quote Cheney that he had different priorities during those years, and let us remind everyone that while Kerry went to Vietnam - and it does not matter how he got his medals - Bush chose to party in Alabama.
