Son of former congressman injured in stabbing incident

Jerrell Christopher Watts, son of former U.S. Representative and University of Oklahoma quarterback J.C. Watts, was stabbed early Tuesday morning.


According to a Norman police report, the “victim was assaulted by two suspects sustaining blunt force trauma and stab wounds.”

Eufaula, Okla. (AP) - The brother of
former Oklahoma congressman J.C. Watts is accused of fatally shooting a man in a dispute over money.

Lawrence Watts, 52, was charged Monday with first-degree murder in last week's slaying of Anthony Greco, 49, of Anadarko.

Watts was released Thursday from the McIntosh County Jail on $30,000 bond.

JC was the only black rethug for a while, right? elected and in the media all the time, that is...then someone at some rethug meeting told him to "pick up my bags, boy" and shortly after he left office. but for a while (during the campaign, IIRC) he was a big cheerleader and representative of the "black support" for bush, and invited to quite a few media sessions.

so happened? did he decide to finally leave the party of racists and come to his senses? does he know something that they don't want him to know?

as a black person living in chicago, i've learned to be really really suspicious about black leaders and murders in their families, or trouble of any kind. two members of his family are now in trouble, and i wonder why that should be.

he was odd, but not so bad compared to the Cabal's De Lay et al. i wonder if he's worried for his own safety.
