Iraq: Turkish Troops Not Welcome
A possible Turkish troop deployment in Iraq would face no less resistance than US forces there do now, claimed Mohammed al-Ubeyd, the head of a visiting group of Iraqi Sunni leaders, at an Istanbul press conference yesterday.

“Nor do we want the US to use Turkish soldiers as human shields or for their blood to be spilled” said al-Ubeyd...
