Church Leader Vows To Drive Gay Decadence From Big Easy

A Conservative Christian leader has unveiled plans to make gays feel unwelcome during the Southern Decadence Festival which begins Friday.

The annual gay event draws more than 100,000 people to New Orleans for a weekend of partying. But, for the Rev Grant Storms the festival lives up to its name in graphic terms.

Storms says there is rampant nudity and sex in the streets and in gay bars in the Latin Quarter and he has vowed to close down the clubs.

What a :dunce: . The only clubs he's gonna be closing, uh, I mean closing down are in Montreal or Paris; all the rampant nudity and sex in N'Awlins takes place in the French (Freedom?) Quarter.

Oh, and ninety to ninety-five percent of it is hetero, a point that for whatever reason appears to have escaped the Rev.

10. Believe me, you would have a blast!

I've been three times and remember many, many fine experiences. Last trip. I got over thirty posed photos of gorgeous drag-queens on the street (always ask permission first-don't be a gaping tourist). The dancers at The Corner Pocket were radical-even I was surprised. The streets are packed, the bars are full and everybody is having a blast.

The good rev better be careful-he may get more than he bargained for! I'm afraid he's bitten off more than he can chew here.

in New Orleans during the festival. As popular as a snake at a tea party. I am hetero and as far as I know I haven't participated in any decadent doings and I am kind of old but if I had the money I'd be there just for s---.
