Father 'still waiting for reply'
http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/uk_news/england/cornwall/3187607.stm

The father of a soldier from Cornwall killed in Iraq says he is disappointed he still has not been contacted by the Prime Minister.

Rob Kelly wrote to Tony Blair asking him to resign over the way the war had been handled, and was promised a personal reply.

Andrew Kelly, 18, who lived in Tavistock, was serving with the Third Battalion Parachute Regiment near Basra when he died in a shooting accident.

No one else was involved.

1. Tony's busy saving his career.
The father will just have to wait.

2. I'll do it

Dear Father / Mother/ Brother/ Child of dead Scientist/soldier/sailor/returned refugee/Guantanamo inmate (delete as appropriate),

Scientist

I'm very sorry to hear of your loss. It is a great shame for the country which should be grateful for the contribution your (appropriate other) made. You'll be pleased to know that his legacy lives on and BAE systems are developing weapons based on his work.

soldier/sailor

I'm very sorry to hear of your loss. You can of course be assured that your loved one died fighting for the freedom, goodness and generally lots of words that make you feel it may have been worthwhile. Actually it's about corporate greed but we can't let anyone know.

Returned refugee

I'm very sorry to hear of your loss. They shouldn't really have been here in the first place though. I suggest you contact the country in which they first landed and blame them.

Guantamo inmate

I'm very sorry to hear of your loss. But, you have to face facts. George Bush is more important to the U.K than your child/ father.

Lots of Love

Alistair Tony.
