He said he has been planning to quit for a long long time.

But CNN played a clip of an interview he did a while back, in the interview
he was asked if he should not resign over the WMD lies. He said hell no I
should not resign. CNN even had to bleep it, it was a video clip from a BBC interview.

Now he has resigned, after he said he should not resign, and he said he had planned
it for a long time. This guy Campbell is the Karl Rove of the UK, he would never resign
unless he had to.
