Edited on Sat Aug-30-03 12:00 PM by NNN0LHI
Record deficits. Record number of jobs lost during a presidents term. Record number of personal bankruptcies. I know I am missing a bunch more, but will leave it at that for now. Don

AAA predicted 33.4 million Americans would travel at least 50 miles from home for the three-day weekend, the highest number since 1995. And 28.2 million, or 84 percent, were expected to travel by motor vehicle.

3. Prior to the PNAC invasion of Iraq
the US was getting about 8% of it's oil from...Iraq!
The Saudi's, as the swing producer, aren't doing much to fill the gap after all the recent accusations.
In the fantasy world of PNAC, the grand prize is Saudi Arabia and the Saudis know it.

4. If we had a Democratic
White House and Congress this kind of price-gouging wouldn't be going on. We use to have a government that was a corporate watchdog, now screwing the consumer is seen as being just a natural part of the system. Where's the outrage?

6. Anyone driving this holiday who really doesn't have to earns the right
