Rep. fears "radical homosexual agenda"
Meanwhile the Repukes shed crocodile tears for Cheney's daughter.

Oct. 15, 2004 | Fort Collins, Colorado -- Republican Rep. Marilyn Musgrave sent a mass e-mail Friday seeking campaign money to fight what she called a "radical homosexual agenda" to oust her because she sought a constitutional ban on gay marriage.

The letter from the first-term congresswoman cited television ads from a group calling itself Coloradans for Plain Talk, which receives financial support from a software entrepreneur, a state Board of Education member and a health care heiress. One ad shows a Musgrave look-alike stealing a watch from a corpse while referring to her vote against barring nursing homes from charging fees after a patient dies.

Musgrave said she was targeted for introducing the gay-marriage amendment proposal in Congress, where it has stalled.

"Leaders of the homosexual lobby know if they can take me out, no one will stand against them in the future. I have no other choice but to ask for urgent help from pro-family Americans like you," the e-mail said.

9. What is a family is the question I wanna know
Musgrove and those who think like her have a very uniform view of a family, they think its a mom, dad, and 2 kids of reasonable age apart. Can't she promote policy that would really help people?

This makes me glad Kerry had the guts and honesty to bring up Mary Cheney in a positive way in contrast to how these RWingers promote fear and hatred and blame towards gays.

14. I kinda feel sorry for this woman.
Edited on Fri Oct-15-04 11:37 PM by Kool Kitty
Imagine how empty her life must be if this is the best she can do with it. Here is a woman that has a big public voice, and instead of using it to help people better their lives and making life for her constiuents better in general, she is doing all she can to make sure that people-who have done nothing but love each other, are marginalized and miserable. At the end of her life, all she will be able to say is that she did all she could to deny some people happiness and a life together. What a waste. Sad, sad, sad.

I always wonder where people get the time to worry about other people's personal lives so much - I have such a hard time just managing my own.

17. Yeah, maybe actually having decent human rights for homosexuals
is considered radical for most yokels, hicks, rednecks, hillbillies, and people of the Representative's ilk.

20. Typical start of a republican"story".. "Republican FEARS...."..
They are "afraid" of so many things..

They are afraid of:

non-republicans voting
black people
women
immigrants
paying their fair share
gay people
poor people

and the list goes on and on

22. Musgrave is an embarrasment to Colorado
I remember her in the State Legislature. It seemed to me her only reason for being there was her hatred of Gays and Lesbians She's nothing but a Menace to Society

25. Hey, gays fear radical republican agenda. And rightly so.
Republicans would kill every GLBT in the US if they were not prevented from doing so. Republicans hate gay folks with a burning passion, even though most republicans are sexually repressed and many republican men are closet gays who just can't face the fact that they have very strong homosexual inclinations.

Let's get real - republican men hate gays because they are insecure about their own masculinity. Poor little fellas.

In my most humble opinion, we have to start exposing the real republican agenda.

They will consciencely and unethically, imprison and/or kill anyone that does not agree with their totalitarian nutcase fascist beliefs.

They really will. Really.

We can never, ever allow our country to reach this point. Elect John Kerry.

You can:

-elect *Bush
-appoint every member of the supreme court
-take control of the Congress
-outlaw gay marriage
-burn crosses
-say roseries
-stand on your head 'till you turn blue
-scream
-cry
-have a hissy fits
-roll on the ground
-speak in tongues,
-shit your pants
and set your hair on fire,

and guess what? fags will still exist,
so get over it, moron.
