Iran to shun Europe nuclear deal

Iran has said it will reject any proposal for a complete halt to its uranium enrichment activities.
National security official Hossein Mousavian said Tehran would not be deprived of its legitimate right to a nuclear fuel cycle.

Britain, France and Germany are due next week to present an incentives package aimed at convincing Tehran to give up its nuclear ambitions.

Iran says its nuclear programmes are peaceful and only to generate power.

Nuclear weapons are the ultimate waste of taxpayer goodwill, but
they do enter you in to the MAD paradigm and prevent gratuitous
invasions and meddling. Given that there is a long history of
americans screwing with persia/iran, there is no point in pretending.

All it will do is provide a standoff position against which america
will have to grow up and stop invading other nations. NK has
an effective standoff... and iran wants the same rights not to
be "regime changed" at the whim of a war criminal larcenous nation.

Figure American hands are tied for months while the bush criminals
are tossed out, so what a better time to get those nukes developed
before a new administration comes in with more war plans.

And geez, once they have nukes, likely it will lead to more peace
ironically, as the power to shut down grautitous wars on its
borders will be greater.
