WASHINGTON (Reuters) - U.S. intelligence officials have transferred detainees out of Iraq for interrogation, a move that experts say violates international law, The Washington Post reported in its Sunday edition.
The CIA has invoked a confidential memo written by the Justice Department to justify secretly transferring as many as a dozen detainees out of Iraq in the last six months, the Post said.

The CIA has hidden the detainees from the International Red Cross and other authorities, the Post said, citing an unnamed intelligence official.

9. Saying so doesn't make it so.

The * administration is guilty of war crimes. I'm not pointing my finger at our troops. I'm referring to our own Dear Leader, his henchmen and advisors. They've abused their offices both domestically and internationally way beyond a BJ that didn't kill anybody.

Prior to the unprovoked (and unprecedented) invasion of Iraq there might have been some small excuse for making the U.S. unaccountable in the international court based on our previous track record. * destroyed that record and has made us more accountable than ever.

It would be great if our country could self correct. If we could, we should have first dibs before an international court gets them. But I don’t think we have the humility to prosecute these bastards. Not even if * loses this election. If that happens at least 50% of merika will feel absolved. That’s not good enough for me. Not when they have blood and treason on their hands. Just “go home” doesn’t work. Where is the punishment or deterrence for future despots in that?

While it might give the rest of the world some notice, I doubt that it would even be perceived as a gesture or a nod to the * corruption. The * administration and congress needs to be prosecuted and held accountable for what they have done to the credibility of our nation, our environment and the stability of the world.

The * leadership has shamed and damned us well beyond our prior missteps in the world. (You’d think we’d know by now.) If we can’t fix and atone for it ourselves, we must defer to the world community to do it for us. In that case the * administration should all be tried in the international court. And if convicted, they can be assured that their punishment will not even come close to their atrocities at Gitmo or Abu however you say it.
