Taliban send new troops to Afghan battle

Hundreds of Taliban fighters have rushed to eastern Afghanistan to join a weeklong battle with US and Afghan troops.

More than 90 Taliban fighters have so far been killed in a week-long fighting with US and Afghan troops in eastern Afghanistan.

It was the latest in escalating violence in Afghanistan, where Taliban fighters have appeared to regroup, launching bolder and better coordinated attacks against Afghan government targets. Four US soldiers have been killed during fighting in less than two weeks, Afghan Online Press reported.

In the south, US jets and helicopters pummeled rebel positions for a seventh day in the mountains of Zabul province. US troops and their Afghan allies have been battling for a week with Taliban forces.

maybe the 09/11/03 anniversary is a great time to bring up shrub's failures....Afganistan still in chaos...Israel/Palistine still in chaos (another $ billion a month shrub project)...and OUR soldiers DIE...every few days, a few more soliers die....

and Iraq in chaos...in just the last two weeks...major explosion at UN, major explosion in important religious building....UN leaves, World Bank leaves, all humanitarian organizations leave....even Poland skips out...and OUR soldiers DIE one or two a day....

Liberia is in chaos....the forgotten shrub war....

will the media finally call shrub on his failures....will they try to ask some hard questions??? WE THE PEOPLE want answers....
