British Embassy in Iran Shuts After Shots Fired
LONDON, Sept 3 (Reuters) - Britain temporarily closed its embassy in Tehran on Wednesday after shots were fired at it from the street, the Foreign Office said in London.

A spokesman said no one was injured in the incident, which comes at a time of heightened tension following the arrest in Britain of a former Iranian diplomat in connection with the 1994 bombing of a Jewish center in Argentina.

"Nobody was injured in this incident. The embassy has been temporarily closed for business."
