Bustamante lashes out against big business
http://sfgate.com/cgi-bin/article.cgi?file=/c/a/2003/09/03/MN247041.DTL

"Cruz's strategy is very clear: motivate Democrats," said longtime
Democratic consultant Darry Sragow. "In his case, it seems pretty
clear that he wins if Democrats show up."

...

-- Allowing the state's Public Utilities Commission to have a say
in the price of gas.

-- Blasting Wal-Mart as a provider of unaffordable health insurance
to employees and accusing the company of handing out applications for
food stamps and state-subsidized health care.

"It's bad enough that Wal-Mart, the largest corporation in the
history of the world, doesn't provide health benefits their
employees can afford," Bustamante said in a recent speech.
"But they actually have been encouraging their underpaid workers
to apply for welfare health benefits and food stamps from the
state of California."

2. No recall! Support Cruz!
I know I will be doing some work on both campaigns--anti-recall and pro-Cruz.

3. He's taking on the Big Boxes...
don't know if this is good or bad in the eyes of
the voters...
I don't shop Walled-In-Mart for any reason.

4. I'm beginning to like this Bustamante fellow

He should talk about helping **small** California buisnesses, also, IMHO. You don't want big buisnesses to be able to muddle your message by claiming your anti-buisness.

I hope they do away with the recall law after all this is over.

No to the recall. Wholehartedly, yes to Bustamante.
