Bush to Address Nation on Iraq Sunday
INDIANAPOLIS (Reuters) - President Bush (news - web sites), facing growing doubts at home about a violent and unstable postwar Iraq (news - web sites) and an uncertain path to greater U.N. involvement in its reconstruction, will address the nation on Sunday night about Iraq and the war on terrorism.

This should be good. <a href="http://story.news.yahoo.com/news?tmpl=story&cid=578&ncid=578&e=1&u=/nm/20030905/ts_nm/bush_speech_dc">LINK</a>

1. Headline should be...
...Bush to increase air and noise pollution in prime time on Sunday.

2. Sure hope he doesn't pre-empt the Simpson's
Now there's a show with real substance -- certainly as compared to whatever whistle-ass may have to lie/say about Iraq, the economy, etc.

4. I don't care
He's not my president. Jed Bartlett is my president, and I will wait to see what he has to say about the situation in Iraq and Qumar.

5. I can't watch him speak
First seeing Bush speak fills me with disbelief that he has not been run out of town or tarred and feathered. He is an angry, ignorant hic that would be called out if he tried to speak in anyother public setting like a PTA meeting or a city counsel conference. Called out and told to shut the F' up. I grew up on a farm and this guy is no farm hand. He is a shallow puppet with not much Chi' and a whole lot of anger.

What I will do is stay in here though and read the review of his speech by fellow DU members. You all are much more reliable feedback than Chris Mathews or *cough* Sean Hannity.
