Bush Pays Halliburton For Services Never Rendered

As of June 2004, the Government Accounting Office estimated that more than $1 billion in taxpayer money had been wasted due to illegal overcharges by contractors in Iraq, since the onset of the war. Furthermore, experts say that once the total is calculated correctly, the losses could very well add up to billions more.

According to GAO Comptroller General, David Walker, the $1 billion represents about 2% of the $60 billion spent in Iraq between March 2003 and June 2004. To no one's surprise I'm sure, Walker listed Halliburton's overbilling for meals as the kind of typical overcharging that is occurring.

Americans Forced To Risk Death To Boost Halliburton Profits

Twelve former truckers who made the 300 mile resupply run from Camp Cedar in southern Iraq to Camp Anaconda near Baghdad told Knight Ridder that they risked their lives driving empty trucks while Halliburton billed the government for hauling what they sarcastically called "sailboat fuel." "

Bush is ALWAYS near the crime
NEVER the indicted criminal

4. Eh probably not enough.
More neo-cons will just take their place. Anyone who voted for Bush in the last election should be exiled to Iran.

2. If they say $1,000,000,000, it's $5,000,000,000
And cronyism is MUCH bigger in Totalitarian Nations like Imperial Amerika than in the Free World.

3. Simple... If the GOA sees fraud...get the money back.
Hey everybody, it is our tax payer dollars.

The entire purpose of this bush administration is to loot our treasury, and, well, to kill people.

Any members of Congress care?

Looting of the American Treasury is grounds for immediate IMPEACHMENT.

8. And one year after Bush retires he ends up with a $30 million mansion
Edited on Thu Feb-10-05 11:28 AM by applegrove
And one year after Bush retires he ends up with a $30 million mansion in Texas, and another one in Florida. And his known wealth is $15 million. His biography was sold for $2 Million (his followers do not read as much as democrats do).It happens. Mexico's president ended up with the National Telecommunications Company.

Time to learn what rogue state means.

Trust me - Bush will see that $1 Billion again.

This cabal gets paid not for what they do - but how they think!
