In one of the sillier legislative proposals we've seen -- and that is no small feat, considering we are in San Francisco -- Virginia's House of Delegates just passed a bill to outlaw low-riding pants.

Under the measure, which now goes to the Senate, a Virginian could be fined $50 for displaying his or her underpants in a "lewd or indecent manner."

And how would one define what is a lewd showing and what is not? I guess that would depend on whether you gave the politician a woody or not? :evilgrin:
