1. Yes, I believe it is tied to polio vac'n programs

and smallpox vac'n, as well.

After working for the NIH doing medical research (some of it with AIDS patients) for more than 12 yrs., and having read Dr. Gary Glum's book ("Full Disclosure"), I believe that the virus was engineered by the US gov't. Yes, CREATED by our gov't.

This relates to the Human Genome Project and the current talk of genetic fingerprinting for all citizens.

2. My guess on a common sense level...

Says that in the 1950's it may have occurred due to an innocent lack of knowledge. Using infected blood or animals to create the vaccine which may have been only strong enough to create carriers and not kill the individual.

I think that humanitarian scientists would never knowingly have spread AIDS, even if people above them knew and provided corrupt materials.

As to what is going on today? I think with everything I have read I am very afraid of the advanced research project my husband is working with as a joint wide world effort to decode genetic strings. It's creators claim it is going to be made available free of charge to higher educational institues and such, but with HR418 section 102 about to go into place, nothing is what it was before. Nothing.

Like the SETI project hundreds of thousands of computers are using their backend processing space to run calculations non-stop while they do other work or at night when the machine would otherwise not be used.

I think the new form of biological warfare will be aimed at creating death by racial/social group. Supposedly they have isolated the "gay" gene. How far it is from there to developing something that could target a person with that gene, I don't know.

That is why I think the US government is not tightening up regulations on the Chemical industry even though terrorists could make these places target and use germ warfare against US. The US doesn't want any chance discovery of their own underhanded behavior.

Any way, I was kind of discouraged before I wrote this post and I apologize if it seems gloomy.

could be yet another horrid example of man's inhumanity to man.

You are correct about the Human Genome Project.

Dr. Glum told me that his life had been threatened because of the publication of his book. I also know of a widely respected MD who was the Dir of Surgery at a renowned teaching hospital who's life was threatened. She had been making the rounds, Oprah, CNN etc. talking about how contageous AIDS REALLY is when her life was also threateded.
