How Bush Supports the Vets--Cut Their Benefits
Well, I guess Bush doesn't need the benes, so why would an injured real soldier? This makes me furious.

snip . . .

"The VA started considering veterans' assets in 1986, when budget deficits during President Reagan's second term left lawmakers scrambling for spending cuts."

snip . . .

"The Clinton administration in 1996 restored service to all veterans, though with co-pays for some, and shifted substantial amounts of money into outpatient care."

snip . . .

"Nobody should have to pay anything," said Marlowe, 8th District commander for 17 Houston-area American Legion posts. "We swore to do our duty and did what we had to do."

1. As a Disabled Veteran, I'm behind Bush
Way behind him, lest he rub my head and give me a nickname.

If you get in front of Bush, you'll get your ass shot off (he never finished qualifying for his sidearm). If you stand to the side, he'll treat you like his wingmen which means he'll leave early and you'll have to finish the job.

I won't have to worry about the quality of my VA (Dallas VAMC) because all VA hospitals will be closed down and I can die in bed. Unfortunately, I'll be dying in bed about 40 years earlier than I planned....

James nicholson, new VA boss, is already to hatchet man and you can bet this former RNC chairman and millionaire will cut the VA to the quick..
Been round the VA since 1970 and this is the worst possible choice
THANX to all our Veterans for their great sacrifice..
